Wayfinding Kiosk Solutions for Shopping Centres

Advantages of BluePrint Maps Technology
Our powerful libraries and algorithms provide an intuitive, easy-to-use and convenient feature for mall visitors. An advanced full 3D interactive building model provides store, facility and other information at a touch, and guides visitors with clear, at-a-glance, animated navigation paths to their destination. It’s important to note that content is embedded within the model: e.g. special offers can be accessed by simply touching the store within the model.

Touch on buildings, floors or stores for more information and to navigate to location. A fast and smooth 3D model allows visitors to get their bearings instantly.

Content updates
Our interactive models integrate seamlessly with an easy-to-use, web-based Content Management System so that content can be updated securely by untrained retailers or management staff. Content can include sales offers, news and announcements. The system is designed to deliver “enhanced presence” to selected tenants in a number of ways (for example, retailer logos & billboards can be set to be visible even when the user has zoomed out).

New features such as sensor monitoring, user tracking, communications and upgrades to new navigation technologies are readily achieved (e.g. location tags can be added to assets). It’s worth noting that our models are also easily updated to reflect changes or new infrastructure - since the model is built dynamically on the local device, only the new data need to be sent. Updates take place invisibly in the background with no interruption to functionality.

Based on technologies developed by our team at the Nimbus Centre, ShowGuider's systems are the result of over a decade of R&D for the event market.

ShowGuider combines real 3D modelling with indoor positioning and a massively scaleable data platform. Our team has many years of experience in these areas and has been granted patents in the US and Europe for our self-calibrating indoor positioning system.
